Privacy Policy

Games is a small, privately run service that hosts simple HTML games and lets people play
them inside Telegram or in a web browser. It is run by one person as a hobby project, not by
a company. This page explains what it stores, why, and how to get rid of it.
What is stored
- Your Telegram account id, when you open the app from Telegram. It is used to tell
players apart and to decide who is allowed to upload or delete games. If you upload a
game, the display name Telegram gives the bot is stored alongside it so other players can
see who added it.
- A session cookie — a random identifier with no personal information in it. It is
used to remember which Google account you connected when you are playing in a browser
rather than in Telegram.
- Game save data, if you connect Google Drive: whatever the game itself saves, such
as scores, progress and settings. This is written to your own Google Drive, not kept here.
- Your Google account id and email address, plus a token that lets the service write
to your Drive, if you connect Google Drive. These are stored in the service’s database,
which is hosted by Cloudflare.
- Logs — requests to the service are logged with the time, the address asked for
and, where there is one, the Telegram account id or the email address of the connected
Google account. These are kept only to find faults and are not used for anything else.
Google Drive
Connecting Google Drive is entirely optional; everything else works without it.
- The service asks for one Google permission,
drive.file. That permission
gives it access only to files it creates itself. It cannot see, open or change
anything else in your Google Drive.
- It uses that access for one purpose: to keep one small file per game, named after the
game, in a folder called “Game Saves” in your Drive, and to read those files back so your
progress follows you between devices.
- Your email address is read once, so the app can show you which account is connected.
Games’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will
adhere to the
Google API Services
User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What is never done
- Nothing is sold, rented or shared with anyone.
- There is no advertising, no tracking and no analytics of any kind.
- Your data is not used to train anything, or for any purpose beyond running the service.
- Nothing is passed to any third party other than Telegram, Google and Cloudflare, which
are the platforms the service runs on. Cloudflare hosts the service: it runs the code,
stores the games and the database described above, and keeps the logs.
Keeping it, and deleting it
- Disconnect Google Drive in the app at any time. The stored token is revoked with
Google immediately and deleted from the service. Your save files stay in your own Drive;
delete the “Game Saves” folder yourself if you want them gone.
- You can also withdraw access from Google’s side at
myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Save data kept on your own device is cleared by clearing the site’s data in your browser.
- Logs are short-lived and expire on their own after a few days.
- To have everything associated with you removed, get in touch using the address below.
Security
Traffic to the service is encrypted with HTTPS. Google tokens are held in a private
database on Cloudflare that only the service itself can read; they are never sent to your
browser or shown in the app. This is a small personal project rather than a company with a
security team, so please do not store anything precious in it.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date above.
